Micron21 provides a fully managed VMware ESXi Enterprise environment with direct access to our Micron21 cloud platform as a service. Our platform provides hardware redundancy and additional on-demand capacity. This includes:

Together, they create a powerful and scalable private cloud platform. By adding your physical server to our cloud platform, your virtual machines run on your own hardware 99% of the time. However, if you face a significant issue or require instant on-demand resources, we provide redundancy using capacity within our cloud platform.
Our platform provides specific, high-availability options for single virtual machines.
As an example, non-critical virtual machines can run on local storage within a server, while virtual machines requiring a disaster recovery strategy can back-up to our offsite NAS storage, taking daily full live image backups. This allows for the recovery of virtual machines independent to your hardware. It also enables mission critical virtual machines to take advantage of our SAN storage: if your hardware has a catastrophic failure, your virtual machines instantly restart within the Micron21 Cloud.

Private Cloud Co-Location Storage Options.
We offer two network-based storage options. Our storage area network (SAN) storage, designed for mission critical services, or our network-attached storage (NAS), designed for disaster-recovery offsite backup.
Each customer using our SAN storage receives a dedicated Ethernet port, on a dedicated logical unit number (LUN) on our SAN infrastructure. Each LUN is created to your specific size requirement, running on a performance VMware VSAN All-Flash platform.
Our NAS storage area is designed for disaster-recovery backup of essential files based as an Ethernet service utilising RAID 6 technology; or our live backup service.
High Availability Co-location.
Our Geographically Redundant High Availability (HA) IP Service is designed for the most mission-critical hosting: whether your business has a co-located, physical dedicated or virtual dedicated server. Enjoy robust security and a stable, high-availability operating environment.
The Mircon21 HA service consists of two virtual or physical servers existing in real-time synchronisation. Each server consists of independent fully-redundant hardware. The units are then housed in two geographically separate data centres. However, both servers maintain the same public facing IP address.
The result is an IP solution that enables completely transparent redundancy while negating all DNS issues. These include time-to-live complications, and the extensive downtime associated with incorrect IP addresses being cached on local DNS servers.
Faultless redundancy meets flexibility.
Our geographically redundant IP services are fully configurable. The solution can be provided as a fully redundant Active – Standby service across two locations. Or, as a fully redundant and load-balanced Active – Active service across two locations.
We can customise the length of the fail over response time from the primary server to the secondary site. Response options can range from an almost-instant fail over to minutes or hours if required. Alternatively, we can load balance each service in real time across both independent geographically separated locations, rendering each site fully redundant from the other.
With flexibility and enterprise grade service quality, the level of redundancy, response and availability configuration is entirely at your discretion.
