Urgent Scam Alert

Fake Micron21 Domain Renewal Notifications

We have recently been made aware of a phishing scam that has been targeting customers on the Micron21 Network. The emails are purporting to offer urgent domain renewal. This may include "Domain Privacy - Auto renewal Failed" in the subject header and message content such as "Last Chance! Save your Domain".

These emails are coming from the domain "micron-21-data-centre.intercom-mail.com" which is not a Micron21 email domain.

If you have received one of these emails, please disregard it. DO NOT click any links in these emails or attempt to pay/provide credit card details. If you have inadvertently paid or provided your credit card, please contact your bank immediately.

If you are concerned about the renewal status of your domain, you can check who your registrar is at Auda Whois: https://whois.auda.org.au/

The Micron21 cyber security team have investigated and confirmed this has not originated from any data breach at our end. The information has been sourced from publicly available information on domain and network routing websites and then made the association with the IP Address WHOIS database. We have notified auDA and the government scam watch of this phishing scam.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Micron21 Support by email at support@micron21.com.
